Presentation: First-in-class gene therapy for life-saving transplantation

Allogenetics introduces ex vivo transplant gene therapy in transplant medicine. We have shown for the first time that fine-tuning of antigen-presentation by addressing the universal MHC-system leads to prevention of transplant rejection without the need for immunosuppression.Our development and regulatory pathway for this first-in-class ATMP from a highly relevant lung-transplant study in pigs to its first-in-human application will be introduced.
