Spotlight session: Automation solutions for scaling ATMP products

Through a collaboration with a university and hospital, our Optima team has developed a machine for decentralized and centralized automated production of an Advanced Therapy Medicinal Product (ATMP). The system, featuring flexible program management, now enables the manufacturing of a wide range of cell products—from blood product processing to fill-and-finish operations.
Personalized medicine products require specific conditions for cell and gene product filling and cell cryopreservation. The time-sensitive, fully automated filling of small batches demands specialized filling solutions. To meet these needs, new technology was developed to support flexible production and filling.
