Courtney Horvath, Global Head of Strategy, Planning and Operations, Translational Medicine at Novartis (NIBR), sat down to talk with Phacilitate’s Editor Georgi Makin to ahead of her appearance and presentation at Advanced Therapies Week 2023.
Courtney shares with us unique perspective on the the use of advanced therapies in oncology, based on her first-hand experience both professionally, at Novartis, and personally, with her son Colby’s journey as a pediatric oncology patient. She notes how advanced therapies such as CAR-T have the potential revolutionise oncological medicine – but first we must tackle the issue of patient access.
Don’t miss Courtney’s presentation ‘Advancing the Frontline’ in the session, ‘What Is The Public and Patient Perception of Cell and Gene Therapies?’, at ATW23, Wednesday 18th January, 2023.
