denovoMATRIX GmbH, an innovator in cell and gene therapy manufacturing, recently announced the expansion of its product portfolio by launching its first stem cell product at the International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy (ISCT) annual meeting in Paris, France.
Bringing cell therapies to patients and accelerating the path to market for clean meat, denovoMATRIX deploys its modular, biomimetic coating technology to enable high performance cell culture. Now through the introduction of its first stem cell products, denovoMATRIX’ is aiming to accelerate the development and commercialization of cultivated meat and cell therapies.
denovoMATRIX will provide high-potency stem cells derived from adult human bone marrow, specifically mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs), at a research-grade level. Using a unique isolation process, the premium cell line product denovoCELLS hMSC, is isolated and established from denonMATRIX using the isoMATRIX in combination with a completely serum-free process. While priced at a competitive value for customers, denovoMATRIX can offer the MSCs at a lower population doubling level than comparable products on the market.
