Ahmed Mousa, MD, is a biopharmaceutical executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in the life sciences industry. He has held key roles across the Middle East at global pharmaceutical leaders such as Sanofi and Novartis, as well as prominent healthcare organizations. Currently, he serves as General Manager of Lafana Life Sciences, a biotechnology investment platform under the Abu Nayyan Family, headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  Through his work, he continues to bridge global expertise with local opportunities to bring transformative therapies to patients.

Ahmed Mousa focuses on catalyzing ecosystem development and venture creation, with a particular emphasis on accelerating innovation in cell and gene therapies & regenerative medicine to shape the regional biotech landscape and drive sustainable growth.
