Amy has been the Executive Director and Lead for Medical Affairs at Beacon Therapeutics since October 2023, focused on building the Medical Affairs team and capabilities for late and early stage ophthalmology gene therapy products.  Amy has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical / biotech industry in diverse roles in leadership, field medical, medical affairs, and commercial analytics at Shire Pharmaceuticals, Genentech, and Iveric Bio.  Her experience spans across different development lifecycles, including early and late-stage development, launch, and marketed products in rare disease, immunology, gastroenterology, respiratory, neurology, and retina therapy areas.  Amy is a pharmacist by training and holds a PharmD from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
