Ana Duran is an Associate at LifeLink Ventures, where she focuses on identifying and evaluating promising life sciences companies across therapeutic areas and stages of development. She brings a multidisciplinary scientific background and more than eight years of experience spanning biomedical R&D and the biotech industry. Ana is particularly interested in approaches that exploit the fundamental logic of biological systems to unlock unconventional mechanisms of action and novel therapeutic modalities. Her investment experience includes Arda Tx, Haya Tx, and Crossbow Tx.

Prior to LifeLink Ventures, Ana worked as a Scientific Sales & Account Manager at a preclinical CRO, where she designed research proposals and supported biotech and pharmaceutical companies in generating the critical data packages needed to advance their therapies toward the clinic. Ana holds a PhD in Regenerative Therapies from Charité University Berlin, where she led research on stem cell-based strategies to regenerate human heart muscle following myocardial infarction. She also holds an MSc in Pharmaceutical Industry from CESIF, an MSc in Biomedical Sciences from Utrecht University, and a BA in Biotechnology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
