Felipe Rivas, PhD, R&D Engineer II at Charter Medical, has more than 13 years of experience in bioprocessing, diagnostics, and medical devices in the life sciences and biopharma industries. At Charter Medical, Felipe leads single-use cryopreservation technology development, partnering with colleagues and customers on the design, validation, and commercialization of single-use solutions used in the development of cell and gene therapies. Felipe has a PhD in biomedical engineering from the joint program between Virginia Tech and Wake Forest University.
