Gwyn Bebb
Global Executive
Gwyn is a global oncology executive with more than two decades of experience leading clinical development, portfolio strategy, and high-impact oncology programs across industry and academia.
He has led global oncology organizations responsible for early- and late-phase drug development, regulatory strategy with programs resulting in multiple FDA and EMA approvals. His experience spans solid tumors, with deep expertise in translational strategy, trial design, and execution at scale.
His track record includes 2.5yrs as Global Head of Oncology at Parexel, 2 yrs at Amgen as a Clinical Research Medical Director, 4 yrs as the Medical Lead, Precision Oncology Experimental Therapeutics (POET) Program, and 8 yrs leading the Clinical Trials Unit while working at University of Calgary. He Founded & Directed the Glans Look Lung Cancer Research Program for 15 years. Gwyn held the position of Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor - Oncology and Medicine, while working at University of Calgary, and continues to hold the position of Adjunct Professor of Oncology and Medicine. While working as a Medical Oncologist at Tom Baker Cancer Centre from 2004 – 2021 he treated lung and GI cancer patients.
He completed his speciality training as a Medical Oncology Research Fellow, while working at Vancouver Cancer Clinic and Cancer Research Centre. He obtained his PhD from the University of British Columbia, his Medical Degree from Oxford University and his undergraduate degree from Cambridge University.
He remains deeply committed to advancing transformative cancer therapies and to building organizations capable of delivering sustained patient impact.
