Jeff Cram is the Vice President of Process Development at ElevateBio, with expertise encompassing development, scale up, characterization, and manufacturing of cellular therapies, viral vector, and mRNA for clinical and commercial applications. His industry career spans over two decades and includes leadership roles at bluebird bio, where he contributed to the development and approval of pioneering cell and gene therapies such as Zynteglo®, Skysona®, Abecma®, and Lyfgenia®. Prior to bluebird, Jeff served as the Technical Project Leader in the CMCF, Novel Cell Therapy Laboratory at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute where he successfully developed, transferred and manufactured a wide variety of novel gene and cell therapy products. Jeff has built and led world-class cell and gene therapy process development teams over his career. His teams have focused on product and process understanding and worked to develop pioneering technologies that have been adopted throughout the industry. At ElevateBio, he is now applying this expertise to industrialize advanced therapy manufacturing, enabling broader patient access to these life-saving treatments.
