Kiren Baines-Mortimore
Kiren Baines-Mortimore is the Co-Founder of a next-generation therapeutics company tackling the root causes of Parkinson’s Disease. Kiren is an accomplished analytical cell biologist, with over a decade of experience across cell and gene therapy, biotechnology, and drug development. Previously, Kiren was Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Extracellular, a cultivated meat CDMO, and led Analytical Development and Quality Control at eXmoor Pharma. Here, Kiren supported cell and gene therapy clients from early process development through to commercialisation. Earlier in her career, Kiren contributed to drug discovery at Charles River Laboratories. Kiren holds a PhD in Cell Biology from the University of Bristol.
