Mariana has been working as a global regulatory strategy consultant for almost 10 years, providing support to biotech companies for the early development of different types of products, including cell and gene therapies and RNA therapies. Among others, she has a thorough expertise in interactions with Regulatory Agencies in Europe, and with the FDA. Previously, she worked as an R&D Director for a biotech company developing new drugs in oncology. Mariana did her PhD in Molecular Biology and worked as a scientist in the US and Canada.
