Dr. Hicks is an Assistant Professor at the University of California Irvine, and associate director of the UCI Muscle Biology and Disease Research Center. Dr. Hicks is cofounder of Anew Cell Therapies which is developing cell based therapies for muscle wasting to repair and replace diseased muscle with healthy donor cells upon transplantation.
