Dr. Nolan Polson is the Vice President of Quality Assurance and Product Quality at Iovance Biotherapeutics where he and his team oversee global end-to-end Operational Support and Product Quality of cell therapy clinical and commercial programs for solid tumors.  He is an experienced professional in providing Quality, CMC, product quality, technical leadership and oversight during CMC development of commercial drug products across multiple jurisdictions.  Nolan was instrumental in the successful commercialization of numerous biopharmaceutical programs at Amgen, and multiple cell therapy programs at BMS (Breyanzi, Abecma) and Iovance Biotherapeutics (Amtagvi).  He has worked previously in the industry with increasing levels of responsibility within Research and Development, Quality Control, Formulations, Global Product Quality, CMC Team Leadership, and Quality Leadership at Amgen, Janssen, Juno Therapeutics, Celgene, Bristol Myers Squibb, GSK, and Iovance Biotherapeutics.  He has a keen understanding of process and analytical development, control strategy development, phase appropriate Quality approaches, and considers Quality as a competitive advantage and strategic partner with the technical development teams to drive comprehensive product and process understanding to ensure product quality and patient safety.
