Rocio Manghani is an accomplished commercial leader specializing in market access and operations for innovative therapies, with a proven track record of securing reimbursement for first in class cell therapies across global markets.

Rocio is the Sr Vice President of Market Access at Orca Bio, where she is responsible for ensuring that upon FDA approval, patients will get timely and appropriate access to therapies. Prior to joining Orca Bio, Rocio was the Sr Vice President of Market Access and Cell Therapy Operations at Gamida Cell, where she launched the first allogeneic cell therapy donor source for patients with hematologic malignancies. She led the strategies that secured coverage and reimbursement for 90% of lives in the first year of launch. Her work also included working with NMDP Biotherapies, guiding policies, HEOR initiatives, distribution, and relationships with transplant center administrators, as well as advocacy organization. In addition, Rocio helped to build the cell therapy landscape while at Kite with the launch of the first CAR-T for adults, which led to the creation of MS-DRG 018.

Rocio also held senior leadership role at Tricida, as well as roles of increasing responsibilities at Celgene, Abraxis Bioscience and Roche.

Rocio holds her Master of Public Health from Emory University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego.
