Dr. Sarah Yuan is a biopharmaceutical executive with more than 25 years of experience in technical development, manufacturing, and CMC strategy across commercial biologics and advanced cell therapies. She currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at Cabaletta Bio, where she leads Technical Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and CMC Strategy.

Prior to Cabaletta, Dr. Yuan served as Chief Technical Operations Officer at Sigilon Therapeutics, which was acquired by Eli Lilly in 2023, where she led CMC development for a novel cell therapy platform. Previously, as Vice President of Process and Analytical Development at bluebird bio and 2seventy bio, she played a key role in securing regulatory approvals for three cell therapy products.

Earlier in her career, Dr. Yuan held leadership positions at Sanofi, Bioverativ, and Biogen, where she led CMC development, manufacturing sciences, and external manufacturing activities supporting clinical and commercial biologics, including the commercialization of multiple biologic products. 

Dr. Yuan holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley.
