Ms. Vilma Methner, Dipl.-Ing. in Veterinary Medicine (FH), has over 25 years of experience in the field of human cell therapeutics manufacturing, now known as ATMP. She developed cell transplants and played a key role in the design and commissioning of integrated isolator technology for the aseptic production of cell transplants in the late 1990s. She founded a company in the biomedical pharmaceutical industry, led it as a joint-stock corporation, brought a product to the stage of centralized approval readiness, and is currently involved in the development of automated production technology at a specialized machinery company, OPTIMA pharma GmbH.
