Dr. Bill Lloyd leads the R&D team at Akadeum Life Sciences® with the mission to advance cell separation technology through its unique Buoyancy-Activated Cell Sorting (BACS)™ microbubble technology. As head of R&D, Dr. Lloyd is dedicated to the design and development of innovative cell separation workflows that deliver superior therapeutics while reducing COGS for both researchers and clinicians. Bill holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan, trained as a postdoc in Chemistry at the University of Michigan, and previously worked in medical device design.
