Statement on the Relationship Between Phacilitate and Regenerative Medicine Foundation (World Stem Cell Summit)

15 July 2020

A statement on the future of the world stem cell summit and Phacilitate’s Advanced Therapies week 2021

15th June 2020, LONDON | Phacilitate’s Advanced Therapies Week 2021 in Miami this January will be held separately from the previously-coinciding World Stem Cell Summit.

Phacilitate considers flexibility and adaptability to be among the cornerstones of advancing the next pillar of medicine which is cutting edge cell and gene therapy products. Our mission, as always, is to support this community in navigating their commercialisation journey.

To that end, Phacilitate and the Regenerative Medicine Foundation (RMF) have arrived at a joint decision whereby the RMF (as well as its production of the World Stem Cell Summit) will remain separate from the upcoming Advanced Therapies Week 2021.

Michael Adeniya, Portfolio Director of Phacilitate said, “In partnership with RMF, we’ve successfully brought together our communities for three years and our collaboration has resulted in many successful partnerships. We wish RMF every success in their mission to promote regenerative, restorative and curative technologies.”

Bernard Siegel, Founder and Executive Director of the World Stem Cell Summit said, “Since 2018, RMF enjoyed a highly successful alliance with Phacilitate including collaboration on events such as The World Stem Cell Summit (2018-2020) and World Stem Cell Summit-CHINA (2019).”

Phacilitate is otherwise proceeding with plans for Advanced Therapies Week at the newly renovated Miami Beach Convention Center, 26-29 January 2021. RMF will not be programming, planning, producing, sponsoring or funding this event, although of course, future collaborations always remain a possibility.

The World Stem Cell Summit remains exclusively owned and operated, as a project of RMF. The Foundation maintains a global network of stakeholders and remains a key broker in the promotion of regenerative, restorative and curative technologies. Like Phacilitate, RMF regularly reviews their traditional platforms for the exchange of ideas in promoting and accelerating regenerative medicine technologies to improve health and deliver cures.
